A Warm Welcome to J-S Beaucage – Baseline’s new Chief Strategy Officer

15 years of management consulting will greatly benefit Baseline’s clients

We are thrilled to welcome Jean-Sebastien Beaucage to the Baseline team as partner and Chief Strategy Officer.

J-S has spent most of his career in management consulting and brings nearly two decades of experience across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, energy, financial services, retail, and technology. J-S’s primary areas of expertise include technology-enabled business transformation of the procurement function.

“I am really excited for the challenges ahead,” said J-S, who was most recently a director at KPMG where he spent 12 years. “I am leaving a great group of people and a firm that pushed and helped me grow and learn in many ways, but this is an incredible opportunity to take a leadership role with an ambitious Vancouver-based fintech and I can’t wait to get started in the payments world.”

J-S grew up in Montreal (big fan of bagels), studied engineering (enjoys solving problems that don’t need solving), lived in Mexico for a little while (pretends to speak Spanish), and met his spouse while canoe-camping (she is a much better paddler). They went on a couple’s vacation to Vancouver 15 years ago, fell in love with the city and mountains, and moved to Vancouver together in 2011. They have a joyful four-year-old son and a freshly minted (very intelligent!) baby girl. J-S previously enjoyed skiing and mountain biking in his spare time — now he enjoys sleeping.
